​By not giving enough consideration to the direction in which I was traveling, I made a move down the wrong road and I realized after some younger sojourners (1 Peter  2-11,12) trailed behind me that I must give more consideration to the direction in which I am traveling as young and impressionable souls are observing or following me.

I would say the one thing on the path of life that impacted me the most was shooting  at the tin foil. 
Even though I was almost hitting it. I was still missing and if I would've gone closer I would've hit it.
It made me realize that in life I can "almost get it" but I still don't and that in order to get it I need to come closer to God.

So very many hearts and hands go into making everything happen as it should for camp..
One of the many things that will not leave my mind, is a beautiful Brazilian lady, who made herself of no reputation, following us all with a folding chair to offer a rest for any of our tired bodies along the path of life.. she made me think of Jesus quietly serving humanity. 
I later found out she was Alex's wife.. Vivi. 
I know Vivi is just one of many who does so much that may go unseen by mankind.. 
I think of Vivi often, and I am encouraged to pray for all who have gone before and the ones who will come after, that God will abundantly bless them along their paths of life.

​MATTHEW 25:40 

​Any time we try to describe the presence of God, what it means to feel Him, or to hear His voice; it seems like words are never enough. In some ways, God just IS. In every way, He IS. (Exodus 3:14.) During camp this year, we learned to listen carefully, or "take heed how you hear." (Luke 8:18) God gave us the idea to make wind chimes, and as the idea developed, we saw God work more and more. By the end of camp, we had over 20 wind chimes made out of recycled and reused materials. When I sat in the midst of all those wind chimes, I could feel the presence of God. I knew that when the wind blew, they sang. And I couldn't help but feel deeply, "So will I," by Hillsong United. This song says "If creation sings Your praises so will I." 
Though we try and try to explain God, define and describe Him, He just IS. And, as His creation, I want to just "be" in that. I want my every action to be a reaction to Who He is. He IS, so I will "be".

Every year we are surprised by our campers, whether by a special way they arrange their tents for inspections or the way they behave, but this year a special group touched our hearts  with letters expressing how our Lord Jesus worked in their lives. We couldn't be more thankful for them and to Jesus, for moving hearts at Bible Camp. #ThankYouJesus
