GET TO KNOW HIM
One of the best ways for us to know our God is by reading and studying His Word. Many passages of the Bible are familiar to us, some not so much. There is a reason God left us with The Bible. It is a means for us to get to know Him and to spread His message to the masses (see Romans 10:17 and John 6:63). If we don’t put His Word into our lives, nothing good will come out of our lives.
“Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee” Psalm 119:9-11.
Will you commit to reading God’s Word each day? Little by little, you can make your way through the entire Bible in just one year. This schedule is set up so each day will include a passage in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. There also are small passages in Psalms and Proverbs for each day.
May God speak to you more than ever as you make your way through His Word.
